PC Scale SMARTStone™
PC Scale Tower™ specializes in making data management easy. We offer our off-the-shelf SMARTStone™ product as well as fully custom-designed Order-Driven, Job-Driven, Point-of-Sale Scale software applications, to give you accurate tickets and reports based on weight, yards, and units as well as on material, job, customer, and broker.
Our SMARTStone™ Order & Job-Driven software is written specifically for the Aggregate Industry, and addresses:
- Order, Material, Customer and Service specific pricing
- Overriding standard rates with customer-specific rates to allow for customer-specific minimums.
- Weighments and Charges by the Ton/Tonne, Bag, Gallon/Liter, Pound, Unit, Yard/Meter, Service
- Delivery fees can be charged by Mile, Weight, Hour, Zone (distance), or can be a Flat fee or Customers can be Exempted
- Credit can be applied for returned products, by Order
- Invoices can be generated by Customer or Broker
- An unlimited number of inbound trucks can be stored simultaneously & retrieved later when outbound
The software maintains a communication history for anything you need to remember, entered by Customer, Broker, or Order.
Provide instructions about any Order to your scale house operator (e.g. give clean stone, get PO#), and watch them fly through the transaction.
You can use the option to require tare expirations, truck-by-truck, by the trip count, or by a selected number of calendar days. The countdown reminder will pop up on the screen, so your operator can't forget.
Complex taxing issues? Set up any tax rate for a specific Order, just some, or all Orders. The application allows taxing by percent, ton, or other units. You can opt when to group taxes together (i.e. local & state/province) by each Order or Customer, and establish which Orders or which part of Orders are tax exempt, if any.
Track single or multiple ship-to sites per order, and store directions to each site for each ship-to address.
The SMARTStone™ unique reporting capabilities allow you to show what products need to be ready each day, and report on the entire communication history of a Customer.
And, as with all PC Scale Tower™ Point-of-Sale products, ticket Reprints, Edits, and Voids are secure, easy to complete and fully auditable.
All system reports can be printed as hard copy or viewed on the screen for a quick review, and are exportable to popular office productivity applications.
